ComeJesus

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done
In earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil:
For Thine is the Kingdom,
And the power,
And the glory, forever.
Amen.

WORDS OF WISDOM

People can be unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;
Love them anyway.
If you do good, some will accuse you of selfish motives;
Do good anyway.
If you succeed, you may win false friends and true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
The good you do today maybe forgotten tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable;
Be honest anyway.
What takes years to build may be destroyed overnight;
Build well anyway.
People don't always want to hear the gospel;
Witness lovingly anyway!

TRUST IN GOD

Courage, Brother, do not stumble,
Though your path be dark as night;
There's a star to guide the humble,
Trust in God and do the right.

Let the road be rough and dreary,
And its end far out of sight,
Foot it bravely, strong or weary;
Trust in God and do the right.

Perish policy and cunning,
Perish all that fears the light;
Whether losing, whether winning
Trust in God and do the right.

Trust no party, sect or faction,
Trust no leaders in the fight;
But in every word and action
Trust in God and do the right.

Simple rule and safest guiding,
Inward peace and inward might,
Star upon our path abiding;
Trust in God and do the right.

Some will hate you, some will love you,
Some will flatter, some will slight;
Cease from man, and look above you,
Trust in God and do the right.

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, & remember what peace there may be in silence. AS FAR as possible be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly & clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud & agressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain & bitter; for always there will be greater and lessor persons than yourself. Enjoy your acheivements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many people strive for high ideals;

Be yourself, Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity & disenchantment it transcends time and space.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of Spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome disipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees & the stars;you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors & aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery & broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Take Care. Strive to be Happy.
